Oh, and another thing we ALL need to remember is that these people are supposedly public SERVANTS.
They owe everything to our VOTE.
There is a mechanism in place called Impeachment.
If you feel your elected officials arent what you voted for… Excerise that right!

A reader recently alerted me to an error in my blog, since this is a new thing, I am still getting used to the technical fine points, this was a victim of cut and paste…

To that complaining reader, I humbly apologize and am correcting if possible…

But reading further and noting the percentage increases that other programs cost over the government “Projections” almost make the error moot!!!

The $1 trillion figure is for 10 years, not for the first year. If this error is indicative of the quality of the information on offer here, you are simply adding to the misinformation swirling around the health care reform debate.

There is an umbrella for all of us and it exists to return this nation to its Constitutional and Founding Father roots. It is the Libertarian Party. Now, I know, many of you think the LP is a bunch of radical, dope smoking nut cases but it is and will be what YOU make it. With ballot status in more states than any other political party except the DemReps, the LP can be YOUR vehicle for real change. The leadership of all the so called minor – they may be minor in numbers and recoginition but they are not minor in scope or importance to our future – is a very small group of activitsts easily overtaken by new leaders with new idea. Since the ideas of the Libertarian Party are those of our Founding Fathers, you all should be able to find a political home there because LIBERTY IS THE ONLY THING YOU CANNOT HAVE UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO GIVE IT TO OTHERS. SO LONG AS YOU ARE PEACEFUL and harm no one or destroy no property we must LIVE AND LET LIVE. When we do that, all our dreams will come true with Liberty and prosperity for us all. My husband and I are 51-year old Independents. This year is the first time we have attended political protests. We do not believe that the government has any place being involved in health care or any aspect of our personal lives. We are sick of uncontrolled government spending. We are sick of our representatives acting in their own best interests. They have forgotten that we are their employers.

We are not pawns of any industry or any political party. We are standing up for our Constitution – the document that makes us Americans, and our freedom. WE ARE THE MOB!!

YES!!!!! Everyone is saying this! You can go on the Organizing for America website and it will find your representatives and set you up for a private meeting with your representative! Most of us work and we just don’t have time to check all the sites. Let’s organize! This is going to be a long haul- after health care will come immigration and cap and tax. We need to form one organization. How to do this?
